I bought a coral from another forum that came in almost dead.
I can't tell if it's 100% dead 5 days later but I think it would be a miracle if it came back.
It was very expensive and I am finding out Paypal doesn't protect you for live coral.
Seller says he'll replace but I'll have to fork out more money for shipping fedex which ain't cheap and sit and wait on colony to grow out.
I really feel ripped off. It also took the guy almost 3 weeks to get it in the mail for me with very poor kinda rude communication, and then it appears fresh cut barely hanging on ... I had to super glue it alittle. It was a chalice.
Buyer beware folks. Heed the warning and ask for photos before shipping and healed frags.
Another buyer PMd me that had a similar problem with same seller and he said he actually got different frag than the WYSIWYG but didn't notice it til later as he was so concerned about the condition which was similar to mine.. almost dead.
    First day I got it:

I've always had great luck buying from forum peoples. Sorry to hear about your tale, the only way to make sure it doesn't happen again is to include links to the sale thread and publish the seller after leaving feedback.

I'd like to know who it was to make sure to avoid the same fate :( that coral does not look healthy - I'd be upset too

It wasn't on this website. I posted similar thread on another and someone PM'd me that knows of two others that had a similar problem with this seller. I didn't even mention the name and the guy asked me via PM " was it so and so? ". One filed claims with paypal and lost.
