    Nah its fine. Its not like some deadly puffer sushi venom ;) But it's enough to keep parasites at bay and give predators a bad taste. I always add my fish by hand, and I'm not any more screwed up then before the mandarin at least.
    I had heard from a few to take it out ASAP if it dies, but I am not sure on that one. Mine didn't actually die in the tank. :cry:

    FYI...liveaquaria.com has a 14 day guaranty on fish. They call it their "Arrive Alive, Stay Alive Guarantee". Just in case you don't find what you want locally.

    Ya but there the only one I know of that does. But your still buying the fish site unseen. At least this way he can actually go down and check it out.

    P.S Not sure about live liveaquaria.com but in most of the guarantees, shipping for the new fish is not covered, so it will still cost more.

    thanks. I just called the LFS bc I wanted to not miss the shipment/acclimation he'll be doing...

    yeah... they got the shipment yesterday ::) :-/ ......:angry:

    this place is so undependable! ugh.

    oh well. I'll still go look.
