OK I got the rock. It has a bunch of bubble algae on it. It is currently sitting in what is practicly freshwater. I am gonna nuke it but there are some really good pieces. I am gonna nuke it but I got it for 2.12 dollars a pound which is cheaper than what I could get dry rock for.

K I nuked the rock with a gallon of bleach. I let it sit for 3 days then I took it outside. Gave it a dip in clean water and then blasted off anything left on the rock with the hose. I then put the rock back into clean freshwater to let it soak for a few hours. Then I blasted it again. Now I am gonna let the rock sit in a tub of RO/DI water for 3 days then I am gonna take it out and let it dry for 3 or 4 days. Then it is gonna go in the tank. First do you think this was enough to kill anything and everything on the rock? Also did I clean it enough to get the bleach off of the rock? Also when I add the new rock every piece of rock I currently have in my tank is gonna need to be moved. What is the best way to add and move the rock with out stressing my fish to much? Should I take them out for the day? My dad suggested that I do the move of the orginal rock and then add 2 or 3 pieces of the new rock a day till it is all in there. What is the best out of these two methods or is there another better method?

Get a few boxes of baking soda.. soak it in that for a day or two to neutralize the bleach.
