    Hello Reef Friends,

Just want to know what you all think about buying livestock online? Do you recommend it or should I stay away from it all together. If you do recommend it then what dealer online do you all recommend? I was looking at the LiveAquaria.com site and wanted some input from someone who has purchased livestock online. Let me know what you all think and if you have a site that you order from and have had good luck with, by all means let me know.

Thanks for you time and information.

Most my livestock is from online, TONS of it, with only a few minor issues here and there, no more or less than my LFS, but with a much better variety;)

Agree with everything here. Infact, with my experience with liveaquaria, the livestock will probably be healthier than your lfs, depending on the quality of your lfs.

Yep, Divers Den is the best. The fish are QT'd and medicated for parasites. And are checked to make sure they are eating a wide variety of foods, plus they have a 14 day guarantee, and have a no questions asked refund policy;) Check that against an LFS;)

I LOVE Diver's Den. But the fish are not routinely medicated for parasites. They are only medicated if something should up. Most are not medicated at all.

Live aquaria is a great place to buy, but photos in DD are at times often not color correct which annoys me , i also like www.bluezooaquatics, photos are color correct. and my new favorite is Live Corals for Sale, Live Fish, and Cheap WYSIWYG Colonies, happycoral coral photos are color correct, they also QT's fish, a couple weeks ago i special ordered a fish its now been threw its qt time and is ready to come to its new home this week. :)
