Buying online

Hey, I was just curious about what some of your opinions were about ordering fish and corals online. I moved to an area where the nearest place that sells saltwater fish is about 2 hours away. If you guys know of any good reputable sites to recommend that would be great.

I love buying online. Ebay is good (just read seller feedback). That, marine depot and live aquaria are the only ones I have used. Here are some others:

I have bought from cherrycorals.com, aquatic art technologies, vividaquarium.com (2x) and tbaquatics.com. I have had very good success with arriving alive and staying alive, I believe I have only lost one coral from buying offline. I like to buy offline because generally the prices are cheaper, although you need to factor shipping in, and you can get exactly what you want, especially when it comes to harder to find corals.

 

I would have to say that liveaquaria.com is probably the best and most reliable site, but there are other good ones out there as others have mentioned.

When I buy online I try to find a place close to home.The livestock seems to get here in better shape than ordering far off,even with overnight delivery.
