I have been using C-balance for a while now and it has kept my levels perfect once they were set. I had to bring the magnesium up a bit and have to keep an eye on the calcium too keep it from going too high, like rite now its 500 so gonna lay off the part A for a few days and retest. My coral growth is very slow, my corals look good and open up, mushrooms move to adjacent rock but not much new growth at all and my coralline growth is not what I would like it to be, few splotches on the glass, not to mention, its mostly ugly dark green, but then again I want to be one of those people who complain of too much purple coralline so instead of making this longer and putting down all the thoughts in my head, the point im tryin to get at is that I have decided to start dosing SeaChem Reef Calcium along with the C-balance while reducing my Calcium Part of the C-balance dosing and alternating while keeping a close eye on the levels ofcourse until I get the dosing just right. I figure the calcium gluconate will hopefully bring me some coralline back and if im lucky increase coral growth. I was just looking to get some input from my friends at the 3reef :)

2 175watt 14k hamilton techs, 1 above each side of a 55 gal, so lighting is sufficient and i do have coralline more purple on the rocks from before the green showed up but the green tends to be more on the back wall and some on the rocks, i hate the ugly dark green color though and wish my purple/pink would take over
