I'm waiting for a couple of responses from other users here. Just as a heads up, I have done some local advertising already and sent out e-mails to various other people. As you guys know Central Oregon lacks in the "reef support" department. So, hopefully this club will change that. Please thank Matt for hosting this club here and be sure to support him and 3reef as well. I will let everyone know of the first meeting date next month(beginning). Please let me know what your schedules are, good days and, days that aren't a good day for you. I am also looking for another board member. If you are interested let me know. It will be minor stuff. Please recruit all of your aquarium friends to be a part of this. Freshwater enthusiasts are "more than welcome" for converting. This is going to be nothing but fun and beneficial. The first meeting will be a dinner for somewhat of a meet/greet and an open discussion for ideas etc.......
I can be reached here via PM or here

Hope all goes well in your new club. We really have fun with I.R.C. here in Indiana. Just nice to sit and talk SW. Karma for Matt for helping us post our local clubs here on 3reef. If we lived closer I would be there. :)

If it goes like this Otty, I don't see how it can go wrong.

Well if it was a couple of year earlier then I would have stopped. Here is a pic of the NW side of Mt Hood as me and my brother passed it in 04. We went to LA for a Pepsi and then ended up in Washington before we headed home. Might be out there before you know it.

We have been granted support from the Pacific Northwest Marine Aquarium Society. Which is a pretty big deal actually. There is already talk of planning future events together. In short it is the support of a large club out of Northern Oregon,Washington and surrounding areas. The club has members that are in the Central Oregon area. I am going to post a thread about the club and 3reef in their forum section. I will update accordingly.
Here's a link to the thread.

Is Eugene considered central OR? Is there any focus on natives (coldwater aquaria) in your group?
