c skim 1800 water level help

    Any1 have any experience. With the red sea c skim 1800 and tthe water height?...im tackling my sump design tonite.trying to figure out if I have room in my stand to go in sump...also can the skimmer be run externally and below the water level? Sry for my noobishness this is my 1st sumped tank.
