Yes you should be worried. Your calcium should be 420-450 ppm and your alk should be 7-11 dKH. I'm guessing you are dosing. Salt doesn't have levels this high. Other possibility is that your hydrometer is off.

I would double check your test kits with another brand to make sure those are accurate. Your Alk is way up there, along with your Ca. Purple Tech (and Purple Up) are Ca/Alk supplements marketed toward Coralline algae...a lot of people have similar problems blindly dosing this supplement. If you don't have anything in the tank to pull these elements out, to keep up with the dosing, you will continue to add more into your system.

Agreed,if there's not much of a cal/alk demand from clams, sps and most lps,it sounds like a case of overdosing and/or dosing blind. At those levels,i wouldn't wait for it to drop on it's own,but instead drop them through a series of small water changes and no dosing until your numbers are back in check. But even this must be done slowly as you don't want to change your parameters too quickly, small frequent changes will be much less stressful for your livestock.

Good advice...but before you do this, double check your test results through another kit.
