I've got a small aiptasia problem in my tank and I'm out of Joe's Juice right now. I thought I remember reading that I could mix up some kind calcium mixture to use in place of Joe's. I have some Kent Turbo Calcium, would this get the job done. By the way, I dislike aiptasia very much  !

The stuff that people are using is Kalk powder, pickling lime. I mixed it with some water into a milky slurry then injected the little buggers.

So if my wife has some pickling lime upstairs from canning food (which I think she does), I can use this? Is that right?

Yup you can use it. But if used in large quantities it can adversely effect your PH
But it is totally safe in batches of one or 2 syringes. Just remember you need to actually inject the little buggers with the Kalk mix

+1 on Kalk mix. I've got an old 5lb jar in the basement.
I picked up some on some new zoas.
    All gone... :)
