    Hi!

My calcium doesn’t go down and is always around 550 despite the weekly WC with salt mix and NSW. My tank has been running since 8 weeks and is 120 gls full of corals softies and LPS.

How can I reduce the calcium level?

    Thanks

LOL! I wish I could keep my calcium high.
Every time you do a water change you are adding salt that contains Calcium. If there is nothing in the tank to consume the calcium you are simply going to have to add some hard coral or something that uses the calcium.

water changes shouldnt raise it that high.

If your not dosing calcium i beleive your test kit is bunk. Id throw it away and spend the extra money on a salifert calcium test kit.

your going to need a test for alk and mg as well. ca has a relationship with alk and mg if kept at the correct level allows ca and alk to be easier to balance. i would try another brand of kit salifert perhaps and see what you get.
