I have an Aqua c ev-240 not hooked up yet but I do have a question. There is a fitting on the skimmer to hook up a calcium reactor. Does anyone use this option?

Here is a link to the instructions if you want to see what I am talking about. It is near the bottom of the page. http://www.proteinskimmer.com/User's Manuals/EV-240.pdf

    Thanks

Lots of people do. It allows the calcium reactor affluent to be released in the skimmer to off gass any extra CO2 so you have a higher pH in the tank.

    Thanks Kim,

Do you know or recommend a brand of reactor?

Geo's are one of the best reactors out there, but they a little on the spendy side.....
