I have the Instant Ocean calcium test kit... I've used it about 3 times, and I have a few questions/concerns.

It states in directions to add agent #3, and count drops. Once it turns blue, multiply drops by 15. I see a purple color form first, and today I counted 50 drops(750) and I still believed it wasn't blue. Maybe a dark purple.

Does anyone else have this test kit? Once it turns purple, is that considered what they call blue? Or is there something wrong with my test kit?

    Any suggestions or ideas?

Note: I rinsed out all viles with RO water several times, and dried them before doing the test.

You are right once it turns blue/purple that's when you stop adding agent #3 and multiply that by 15. Your test kit is working just fine.

Okay, well how purple! Lol. I see purple pretty quickly, around 15 drops which places me at 225.
