    I agree,have never used the red sea but did not believe the API kit I was using to be accurate as the results seemed way too high.I started using the salifert kit and the results were much more believable,tested the same water with API to compare and the results were still crazy high.

    Iv been a BIG fan of Red Sea, if my Hanna units died today I'd go back to Red Sea. I also enjoy the option to purchase Refill kits from BRS. Saves you $ down the road.

    Yea forsure. I feel like I need a new alk, calc, and mag test kit. I think I am going to go with red sea. Are there any other test kits you feel like I need for a reef. I already have all of the standard kits such as nitrite, nitrate, ammonia, pH, phosphate

    For right now you should be good to go. I test for Silicates and Iodide bi-monthly but most reefers don't
