Calcium?

I just did a calcium test on my 10g tank, it was off the charts! So what's my next step? A water change?

 

Stop adding calcium supplement until the value comes down and do another test with another kit to make sure yours is accurate.

 

WI'm not adding anything, all I do is adjust my salinity levels...

 

what's off the charts? on the calc test don't you add drops and calculate the value based on that? So there shouldn't really be a chart.

 

Its just a figure of speech sorry, I added 15 drops of bottle number two and it was still pink...

 

If its an api kit thats not a lot of drops ..I like to see about 21 or 22 drops on the second bottle. Not sure about other test kits though.

 

Oh ok I just thought that since the little book stopped at 13 then it was over, guess I made a noobie...

 

It goes higher than 13, it's a 2 sided chart 14 through 26 continue on the right of that chart.

 

Well now I just feel stupid lol, thanks for the help though.
