Calfo overflow

    So I am about to drill my 75g to do a Calfo overflow. My question is about the glass thickness. I have two extra 10g aquariums so I was thinking I could just cut the glass from them to make it but the glass I think is only 1/8 inch. Is this safe to use as an overflow or would the risk of it cracking be real high from say rocks hitting it
