Well I was going through my closet of fish related stuff, and stumbled upon this guy.

So I decided why let it collect dust? It's a 700ma CC Meanwell. My current setup on my tank is 18 Royal Blues, 12 Cool Whites, and 6 Neutral whites. Along with that CC Meanwell, I also have some 660nm Osram Reds I could salvage off an old heatsink.

I would like to get some opinions from people who have used different combinations. I know I want to go with several violets, but I've been out of the led game for along time so I'm not up on which violets are the ones to get. I know people are using cyan, blue, green. Pics would be MUCH appreciated and any insight is welcome.

Yeah linking on tapatalk sucks. But I just looked at your build earlier today actually. When everything is on and you turn the 420nm string on and off, does it make a big difference?

I added more spectrum because I had that same driver laying around, but then I upgraded to dimmable because of more control.

Big difference no, can you tell yes. If you look at the pictures of them both on when looking at the heat sink, the colors are much much brighter

What leds did you have on that string?

    I'm thinking

    8 420nm UV's (80 Degree)
    2 Cyan (80 Degree)
    2 Blue (80 Degree)
    1 Red (No Optic)

I don't use optics since my lights are so close to the water, but here are the LEDs I use.

Red, Green, Cyan, Violet (Driver 3)
    Royal Blue, Blue (Driver 2)
Cool White, Neutral White (Driver 1)
