So I have a crazy vine growing along the back of my porch and I cant figure out what in the world it is. It looks identicle to a pumpkin vine although pumpkins dont grow in florida because of the heat and bugs. I have only been in this house 6 months so I have no idea what was planted there last spring. The leaves are fuzzy to the touch and has orange flowers growing on it. Has anyone seen anything like this?

It very well could be a pumpkin vine, but why in the world is it growing in June, what am I gonna do with pumpkins in the summer? lol. I was also thinking maybe a squash or something? I have no idea, im not a gardener and my thumb isnt green! Any help would be great!

Yeah looks a lot like squash. I had some growing in a rubbermaid bin in my container garden. Wish mine looked that good LOL. Oh well, my habanero, jalapenos, zucchini, and both tomato varieties are doing great.;D

though they will grow the actual pumpkin very bad about getting bugs and worms and dosent grow as well in hot weather but the plant it's self grows really easy.

BTW its still not to late to replant ;D
