After going back and forth between T5's, Reefbreeders LED's and now Maxspect Razor LEDS, I am leaning towards the 27" 160W Razor 16k.

I would like to see some results of the Razor. If you are a Maxspect Razor owner will you please post a picture of your tank...before and after pictures would be great.
Also if you would like to add any pros or cons of the light that would be appreciated.

reefer dane- What was your opinion of the reefbreeder LED fixture and what unit did you have? I've been researching between two Photon 24's or two Maxspect Rzor 120 units.

I'll give a description because my photobucket account is going super slow because of my huge upload yesterday.... full power/equal power of both channels is nice, not 16K but more a 12-14K, crisp and gives off great color in corals without making it looking like a photoshopped tank. But if you saturate the tank with blue with some white it will give off a purple color. Nice fixture.

I use the 20"model over a 40b mixed reef and am very happy with it.Pros,no heat no bulb replacement, lower energy cost, color adjustability, very nice looking slim design. The programmable timer/light intensity adjustment feature is very easy to use and works well with the light changing gradually from one setting to the next.Con,the only con that comes to mind is the light coverage area. The 20" works well for a 3' mixed reef because the outer areas,6"on either end,are lower light. For a intensely lit tank you need a 27" for a 3'tank and two 20" for a 4' tank.

JRawsky, This is my first tank so also my first light purchase. From everything I have read about the Reefbreeders LED is that its an excellent fixture and excellent company to buy from. I have been researching hard for the past month and over the last week have become very interested in the Razor. The Razors reviews are excellent as well. What has me leaning towards the Razor is the looks and the Cree LEDS.

It seems difficult to find pictures of success with either light.

1.0, How long have you had the Razor and how is the growth? Any thoughts on the 10k?

It's a 16K, the growth was great but I didn't have it on the tank for long (Downsized, etc)
Also, Sailorguy, Coralvue and Maxspect recommend the 27 inch model for 36 inch long tanks.
