Got all of my plumbing. Accidentally picked up the wrong size coupling and repair coupling for the stockman, but oh well. I'll go back and get the right pieces when I'm not busy. I'm also picking up the glass for the baffles tomorrow.

Unions makes life easier. I'd definitely use them below the bulkheads, if it's not too late.

Just bear in mind, use unions in a way that it would be easy to take apart the plumbing and clean out a clog, if one was to ever happen.

I used true union ball valves and will never build without them again.

I just got back from the store with the right sized fittings.

I also found out that my mom is good friends with the owner of a glass shop, so we went there to get the baffles cut. They gave them to me for free, so that's a big plus :) They also build aquariums, so I'll definitely keep in contact with them.

I already started putting the plumbing together, so I don't really think I can add any unions now :-/ I can use the extra money for some more equipment.

Oh! I also ordered some marineland silicone. I was going to buy some at my LFS, but it was $15 for a 3 oz tube, so I bought a 10.3 oz container for $11 on Amazon.

Here's the plumbing so far. I'll trim whatever's needed after I get my equipment in.

Is the overflow box clear? I'm just a bit confused as to what I'm looking at.

It's going to be a challenge to get the sump in there with the plumbing already in place. You could cut them and put some unions in. :)

    2 other things:
You'll want some flexible tubing (I'd use spa flex) between the return pump and the rigid plumbing, else you'll have annoying vibrations.
I'd use an outdoor weather proof cover over that electrical outlet behind the tank; it could save you from a fire.

Yeah it's a smoked glass overflow.

I only have the plumbing glued At the bulkheads. I can take the other plumbing out. I was going to buy flex tubing, but it's a bit expensive to buy a roll, considering I only need a few feet of it. Do they sell small pieces somewhere?

I'll also add the outlet cover :)

Out this way, Home Depot sells spa flex by the foot. I'd imagine they would your way as well.
