    You're just trying to freak me out now, right? I didn't glue anything but the first elbow in the plumbing under the tank. The way I worded it may have sounded like I had everything glued already.

    I glue as few pieces as I can in my tanks, and never the bulkheads. keep in mind I haven't moved in 13 years, but I know as soon as I can no longer fully disassemble my plumbing I'll have a blockage and need to cut it out.

    Since you are rebuilding alot of it go get a slip X thread and thread X thread bulkhead so your stand pipe can be pulled out and your return screwed in, and then assemble you plumbing using unions under the stand.

    And will the threads prevent it from leaking, or will I need anything else to seal it?
