Yeah I guess :) They are quite pricey at My LFS, though. About $30 each, and I would want 5 of them. I may go with something else. I'm still trying to decide :p

They won't "school" in your tank however, its too small and there is no predator forcing them into that behavior.

Huh, I never knew that. Maybe I won't do "schooling" fish. Thanks for letting me know.

That's my understanding as well. Best you will get is them hanging out together vs. actually schooling.

You mentioned Chromis, and as some one else commented, you will eventually have only one. I tried a school of them in my 76 gal. a few years ago and it only took a few weeks for the largest to murder the others. I love the choice of the chalk bass- I think it's one of the most underrated nano-fish, nice coloring and peaceful. I also think that you should scrap the dotty back. In my experience, they have been nothing but trouble- can become aggressive toward fish much larger than themselves.

I believe you're talking about the Threadfin Cardinals? Apparently my tank isn't big enough for them to "school". Still very cool fish, though. Thanks for the idea :) I may do a few. There a bunch of ideas going through my head right now haha
