Yeah I'll have one on every tank after this. More room for equipment, more water volume, no microbubbles: What more could I ask for? :)

It's really not too big a deal. It doesn't pump very fast after the head loss as it is, so I don't want to restrict flow any further. It's not too loud now anyways. Thanks, though :)

Not much of an update. No leaks so far (fingers crossed)

I also came up with a new scape. Let me know what you think.

Hi stumbled across your build thread and figured Id throw my .02 in. I just moved from a 28bow front to a Marineland 45g Cube. I drilled it and currently have it on a basement sump. Just to give you a little info on stuff your looking at. If I missed that you already bought things please forgive I read through quickly. I am using a Reefbreeders Value on mine and am currently playing with height. I put it to low to start and it did a number on a couple of my SPS changed one from deep purple to neon green with forest green tips. I also tried to use just one mp10 for flow and decided that I wanted a little more than it could do in the tank so bought a Jaebo wp25 from a club member up here and WOW. I really had to play with it to not have it throw water outta the tank or cause a dust storm as I have finer sand in mine. I hope to follow along with your build and see where you end up. If you have any question s let me know as I may have already ran into the problem and or fix.

Forgot to say the rockwork looks good I like the bonsai effect

Thanks for all the tips! I really appreciate it. I'll make sure not to keep my fixture too low. Does 10 inches above the tank sound about right? And I'm loving the amount of flow my wp25 is putting out. I'm thinking I should be fine with this, but if I do need more flow, I'll order another one. Thanks for following along! Do you happen to have a thread or any pictures of your tank?

And thanks :) I'm thinking the flow will get around the rockwork better than my previous scape.

I do have some pics but will get some new ones now that my water has cleared. I lost a couple corals that where a designated part of my scape that have to be replaced but still have a few. In the middle of mine there is a vertical piece that Iam doing a ring of blastos around the base like a little flower ring.

9-10 inches I think is ideal mine is currently at about 7 and is too strong had to turn it down. When I had the reef breeders above my bow front which is same depth I was getting par of about 180 one the ground. Yes the wp25 will do all the flow you need I think Iam using the Mp10 more to chop the flow and be chaotic then for flow it self.

I'd love to see your tank. I like that idea with the Blastos. That should turn out pretty cool.

Okay, I'll set up the lights about 10 inches from the tank. I heard about how strong these fixtures were, and I don't want to fry any corals :p Thanks again and post pictures whenever you like :)
