I like that idea. I'm only going to keep a few fish to keep the amount of waste low. Would I be able to keep more than one Basslet without having to worry about aggression?

I believe so, as long as they are added the same time.

Here's a list of items I will be purchasing during the next 2-3 months:

    Jebao wp25

    [STRIKE]Aquastyle 48 LED Kit[/STRIKE] Reefbreeders Value fixture

[STRIKE]Cadlights PLS-100 Pipeless Skimmer (I saw N00ZE's build and thought it would be perfect for this build as well)[/STRIKE] SCA-301 Protein Skimmer

    [STRIKE]Mag7 Return Pump[/STRIKE] Sicce Syncra 1.5

    JBJ ATO

    (Possibly) BRS Dual Media Reactor

    (Eventually) APEX or ReefKeeper

Okay thanks. I'll do some fish that aren't the norm in every tank.

So does that list sound about right for the tank?

A Mag7 will be way too much pump if all you'll have is a 10g sump. Too much turnover in the sump and all the equipment down there will perform sub-optimal. I'd target 100-200gph for a 10g sump; look into the Sicee syncra line (the 1.5 is probably about right after head-loss).

Okay I wasn't sure how strong it will need to be. Thanks. I need to figure out how you plumb an overflow, but I'll make another thread for that.

Skimmer works like a champ, been running for 2 weeks now... break-in time was about 2-3 days. And I would also recommend this to anyone.

So I'm starting to think a ReefBreeders value fixure would look better over the tank. Opinions?

Great to hear! Thanks for letting me know.

One value fixture should actually cover the whole tank quite nicely IMO.
