So how does this stocking list sound?

    3 Yellow Striped Cardinalfish
    1 Purple Dottyback
    1-2 Neon Gobies

Let me know what you think. I'd also love to hear some more of your ideas.

Nice score Cam! My next build I think I am going to stear away from fish also, SPS tank sounds like a great idea.

Cam, your plan is a low fish bioload? I'm afraid to say that I find cardinal fish boring but that's just my opinion. I personally love clownfish and there are so many varieties out there. Have you thought about some sort of bottom dweller to give the tank visual interest throughout the tank?

Thanks! Yeah, I've been wantin to do an SPS dominated tank for a while now.

Yeah I want to keep a max of 5-6 small fish. I wanted a trio of schooling fish, so I'd either get those or some sort of Chromis. I do respect your opinion, though. I'm just trying to get an idea of what schooling fish would be visually appealing, so I'm up for more ideas. I may do a Clownfish pair. I would do some bottom dwelling fish, but I'm planning on keeping the tank bare bottom :p

I would actually say do 5 of the Yellow Striped :) And definitely two Neon Gobies; just make sure they are a bonded pair.

You don't think that would be too many fish? I like the idea, though.

I'm reverting back to my original thought about reef keeping, the more fish in the tank the more problems your inviting. I will go fishless until I have my tank fully stable. I will then add 3 fish tops for maintenance purposes.
    1) For bug control, 1) for micro algae control and 1) to live in an anemone.

No I don't. The Neon Gobies stay around an inch and will be hidden in your rockwork most of the day, and the Cardinals around 2.5", and aren't big swimmers either. Bioload wise, all of those fish combined are probably about equal to 2 larger fish such as a Dwarf Angel or Royal Gramma.

Stay away fro the purple dotty and get an orchid so your other fish will live.
