    Baffles are important for the skimmer water level and mirco bubbles but thats just me.

    Are you running a skimmer?

    I'll be getting the skimmer that you have.

    Was it difficult to install baffles in your sump? Or is yours pre-built?

    So my dad and I just finished most of the room and the tank is in place. The reason we had to renovate was because our washing machine got stuck in the fill cycle and flooded the room :p

    So since it sounds like I should install baffles, I'll do it. Now some questions:

    How thick does the glass need to be? I have some scrap 3/32" glass at my house. Could I use that?

    What type of sealant should I use? I believe I've heard about using GE II silicone?

    Glass baffles can be any thickness just as long as the pieces aren't too thin,, they need to with stand the pressure. 1/4" is my normal baffle thickness. Just my .02

    Use GE II windows and doors. Not Kitchen and bath
