I'm sure I missed this somewhere but what size tank are you wanting to have? By all of those estimates, it definitely seems it would be cheaper to buy a pre-made one but I know you like to build things......

The tank would be 17 gallons lol. I like to build, but I just don't have that kind of money right now :-/ Maybe I could buy a 20L and take the rim off, but then I would need to somehow extend the stand that I built by a few inches ::)

    Maybe I'll just wait a bit :)

    Quick question:

If I wanted to take off the rim off of an Aqueon tank, what would be the biggest tank I could do this with? Also, can I take both the top and bottom rim off of the tank? I might go to Petco today for their $1 per gallon sale :)

So my LFS was having a sale on Peppermint Shrimp, so I bought 3 of them. All 3 were cheaper than Aiptasia X. I was told not to feed them until they eat the Aiptasia. I also bought a frag of Zoas and a frag of Orange Striped Clove Polyps. I'll take pics when they open up :)

Well the Peppermint Shrimp definitely did their job :) The Aiptasia is GONE!!!

I was going to take pics of the new corals this morning, but I left my camera in my mom's car ::) I'll get pics when she gets home. Everything is open and looking healthy :)
