Does it matter what types of flakes or pellets I buy?

So I'd like to frag my Maxi Mini Anemone, as it has already grown pretty large (3"). I was wondering: would it be safe to pull it out from the crevice that it's in?

Also, when I finish fragging it, should I put it right back in my tank and turn off the powerhead?

Well I give up! I've tried prying him off the rock and using a piece of ice in a plastic bag and held it on the foot, but nothing's working  Any other ideas? And facing the powerhead towards it isn't an option. The anemone is touching the sand bed, so I don't want to create a sand storm.

I gave up trying to frag it. I moved one of the rocks the Maxi Mini was connected to yesterday, so now I can see it a lot better.

And here's the new Maxi Mini (My LFS fragged it a week ago, so that's why it's not a full circle yet)

you don't 'frag' anemones, you 'clone' them.
