I still don't see either one of them. Any ideas?

So I looked in the tank and my Peppermint Shrimp was in his normal area. The Maxi Mini, on the other hand, decided to move to the very back, behind the rocks ::)

I'm going to stop by WWC for another powerhead (and maybe a coral or two :) ) today.

The Caulerpa has taken over most of the left rock structure and is growing on the right. Feather Caulerpa is growing all over the sand bed. The Pincushion Urchin hasn't touched any of it yet, and I'm already picking it out hand, but it just keeps growing back.

Stay at it. I worked manual removal for a year, along with an aggressive nutrient reduction operation until I beat mine. And I had 3 tangs AND an urchin.

I'll definitely keep fighting it ;) It has completely taken over my Zoa garden and almost started growing on my Meteor Shower Cyphastrea, so I moved it. All of my Anemones moved as well.

you need to spend a couple hours and pull out everything now. The runner are probably taking over your sand bed where you can't see.

I'll definitely do that tomorrow when the lights come back on.

I also had a thought pass through my mind: What if I were to get new dry rock and dry sand and cycle it in a container, and then change out the rock and sand in the DT?

you could do that I would think Cam. A lot of work though, so be prepared changing out a sand bed is a bear but maybe that is the way to go in terms of getting rid of the calerpa that you're fighting....you'd want to keep a couple of pieces of live rock to seed the dry though....

Well I was thinking of using ammonia to cycle it. What else would I need to use to help cycle it besides the rock and sand currently in the tank, since I don't want to transfer the caulerpa to the new rock or sand?
