Very cool chalice man! You will also love the cyphestrea. They are pretty cool to watch grow. What is your initial impression of the Kessil light?

Thanks! I love the Chalice and the Cyphastrea. I'm definitely liking the Kessil. It puts out almost double the amount of light that my T5's put out. It says online that they are compared to 150w metal halides, and I can definitely agree with that. At CoralCon, they had two over a pretty large (I'd say around 75 gallons) wide tank and they had great coverage all over. I'm happy that I can start growing some more SPS's now :D

Does this look like a good idea for a sump? It's based off of a 20L tank.

Thanks :) Norg had a good idea, though. I'll dedicate the 20L as the sump and find a thin, tall container for the ATO, as I barely have any room for anything under it.

I've actually had the Cyphastrea for a while now. It was one of the few survivors of my tank crash :)

So it turns out that even a 20L is going to be too wide, so I think I'm going to build a separate stand for it and the reactors, and then I can put a separate ATO under the main stand. I can put the second stand next to the tank stand.

Sorry for the lack of updates. My internet hasn't been working and my computer won't turn on. So for the update:

I just built the frame of a stand that measures 36"L x 26"W x 36"H since I didn't have enough room for a sump, much less an ATO. I think I may upgrade to a 40 breeder while I'm at it. I'll try to get some pics of the stand tomorrow.

Here's one pic for now (I'm not sure how to link photos through this phone) I'll get some more in the morning.
