Looking good buddy! Hermits are a pain in the butt sometimes but their personalities are usually pretty entertaining. Since you have a new camera now, you should probably get reading something like this.

    :) Haha.

Thanks! I'll check out the link when I get home. And I'm not too worried about the hermit crab. He's not even an inch across :)

That was a great read, Norg! Thanks for posting that!

I was worried about my Rock Anemone because it started closing up, and looked like it was spitting its guts out:

It seems better now, just a little smaller. Was it just pooping or something?

Also, does anyone know how to get rid of the Hydroids?

Also, since I have my rock Anemone next to my Maxi Mini, will they bother each other?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If one bothers the other they have the ability to get up and move and that is what they will do if one begins to stings the other, at least that has been my experience.

Depending on the size of they hydroid colony you can use the underwater epoxy method and cover the area for a week or more and repeat as needed. I would not cover large areas all at one time. Manual removal and decreasing the amount of available food (suspended particles) will help.

Thanks! That's good to know :)

There are only 5-6 Hydroids. Would super glue gel work? I also haven't put food in the tank in weeks. They came on one of the rocks I bought :)

I'm thinking of getting an Anemone Crab or two. Do you think they would stay out in the open a lot?

    Super glue gel should work.

I do not have a lot of experience with Anemone Crabs, all I can add it that I find most common crabs for sale in the industry to be shy and reclusive if not nocturnal. This may not apply to Anemone Crabs though.

    Guess we shall see.
