Can a sps (red planet) sting/hurt other sps?

    My purple haze fell off (due to snails, maybe) and fell on my red planet. It might be a good whole day that i didn't notice it and when i did, the purple haze already has a white area where it touched with the red planet. I quickly separated them and did a revive dip on the purple haze. That was 3 days ago, now the white spot has grown big more than half of is is damaged, looks like the purple haze is dying.
    Is it possible that sps can hurt other sps?

    Yes indeed. Some battles my RP wins, most in fact.

    Wow. I never knew that. I thought it was mostly lps that do damage. I hope it will recover but chances are it won't.

    Montiporas seem to be the weakest of the SPS.

    SPS have mesenterial filaments too, they just don't have a long reach like many LPS.
