can any one tell me what this is on my anemone

    it is acully 2 seperate balls of..??>>well what ever they are

    It looks like mesenterial filaments from inside the base of the anemone. Is the base of the anemone injured?

    no injury to my knowledge. i just aquired him 3 or 4 days ago

    his foot is torn and it's his innards. I would guess someone where you got him just ripped him off of the rock thus tearing him. Very hard for them to recover but they sometimes do.

    There are a few things you should look for when an anemone goes down for the count. First, the base will not be able to attach with ease. Also, the tenticles will get slick and slimy, where they should be sticky. So do keep an eye on it. If the anemone dies in your tank, it can take the tank with it........
