I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me about how much they spent on all of their equipment for their 75 gal it would be really helpful. It is going to be a reef tank. The only thing i know right now is a coralife aqualight pro and thats about $800. If you don't want to post the amount on here you could email me at gschultz0@aol.com. If you email me could you post on here that you emailed me please. And if you want to be reallyyy helpful could you send a pic? Thanks for your help!

well if your buying it from craiglist, then fairly cheap if your lucky.
Currently I got so lucky, I am buying 90gallon tank, with every equipment, Stand, also with T5 lighting, for $250. Sometimes they can be pricey.

I recommand you keep serching craiglist, or you can just buy new set ups.

There are alot of variables when considering setup cost, new vs used, quality of equipment, reef or fowlr etc.
I think around 1k would be a realistic if not low figure.

I think it costs a lot...I've only bought my stand and tank (and lid) so far and I'm at like...500 dollars or so. So I would think well over $1000. But I'm not really sure. You should just find all the stuff you want and price it out.

i specked out my 75g recently and for everything i want it'll be about $2k for substrate(s), skimmer, return pump, skimmer pump, phos reactor, phos pump, and live rock.

so i guess plan on spending anywhere between $0-3K easily on a 75G build out dependent on what you crave.

lets just say that my 30 gallon is already well over $3k. It has only been running since april.. im starting a 75 gallon as well.. So we will see where this all goes.. I am currently estimating about an extra $2500 to get my 75 up and running after I strip out my 30 gallon.
