    Can anyone tell me what the little yellow thing is at the top of photo? I have 3 of them this is the larges that I could get a pic of .:-/

    Looks like some sort of sponge or tunicate to me.

    I'd say sponge too. Mine keep disappearing, so I'm guessing the fish/shrimp/crabs are eating them.

    I'm a fairly heavy feeder and dose phyto.

    Do you have any nudibranches or Angelfish? I know the nudis eat them. My shrimp, crabs, fish , and snails don't touch them.

    I have a pair of Lamark's angels, but I haven't seen them "nip" at anything. Best I recall, they would appear and disappear before the angels ever went in...

    I've not added a nudibranch purposely and haven't seen any after the lights are out, but it is possible one could have come in as a hitchhiker. I'm discovering new things all the time after the lights go out...
