Can coral dips be reused

    I am using two cups of water with 5 drops of lugols. and i was wondering after the first initial 15 min dip can the same water + solution be used to dip more coral?

    Yes... you can reuse dips for as many coral as you have.

    You do NOT want to store it overnight and reuse though. The die off will cause massive ammonia spikes in it.

    +1 on NOT reusing the dip solution after storing it overnight. Any slime, organic material etc. that comes off the coral during the dip will begin to break down in the dip solution and I can imagine that the water quality in the dip solution will spoil fast. The corals are already going to be stressed by the iodine in the dip and exposing them to even more stress from bad water is something I would not recommend. , I dip all my new corals in an iodine bath like Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure before introducing them into my tank.
