I've had a few hang(they never last long for me) on skimmers but, this one never operates properly. My past ones made some bubbles for a day or two although this one never stops. The bubbles I'm talking about are millions of tiny bubble that come out of the return and move around in the tank. It's an Aquatop skimmer and it has a mechanical filter and Uv light built in......I also have a canister filter.

well I think I found the reason my fish died. I don't think it was the water parameters or the foam.My anemone shrunk for about a day and since then looks like it doubled in size, so I think it killed and ate the fish, or it ate him when he was dieing.

    back to that basics.

first of all what species of anemone?

secondly, what is the size of your tank? what skimmer are you using, do you have a LSB and or LR, what is in your tank, how long has it been running?

it's a Haitian Condy :-/ If it was a Bta I wouldn't be suspicious. I also have a Coral bandit pair and one of them is pregnant...

My tank is a 55gal and I'm using a Aquatop skimmer. It's been running for.....10 years, It's incredibly stable now, water parameters only change if something dies or I change something.
