Who said anything about a six line not being okay? A six line in a 30g tank is enough room, however as far as six lines go, don't do it. That little six line is far more likely to give you more problems and be a bigger bully than you can imagine. A 29g is too small for most wrasses, but not all. Fairy wrasses need more room than that. The smaller flasher wrasses would be alright.

First my post was mostly in jest, second wrasse was spoke as a generality in the early posts and sixline was not reference before I started writing my reply.

as far as being a bully, I've had zero problems he was the last fish in and I couldn't be happier with his behavior.

Hence my confusion. :p Not looking to make waves/start an argument.

Some people have a good experience with sixlines. Most do not.

Except for tanks where you don't want a superaggressive fish bullying everything around.

I think I also got lucky as someone else noted, my 6-line was a model citizen in my tank, it was added towards the end & never bothered any of my fish or corals.... that is until my LFS said an X-mas Wrasse may work... when that X-Mas hit the water my 6-Line turned into a maniac cop like in the movie. So the moral of my story is don't mix wrasses unless you're 100% sure they will get along.
