Can I add another clown?

Right now I have one fairly large female o word clownfish and a royal gramma

both get along great, gramma been in there since about 2 weeks after I set up my tank, got the clown a couple of weeks ago

as long as I get one smaller then the one I have now, can I add another O word clown fish? also jus wondering prob wont cause there expensive but could I get a b&w O word clown?

the one I have now is tank raised if that makes any difference

Sure you can add another O word clown fish. The larger one will become female.

 

well really you can......but really you cant lol, honestly you would have to have a non mated pair,you could buy them all at once and have 3 or 4 but if you buy them tank raised they shouldlnt attack it and plus it all depends on how long the other clowns have been in there

 

round 2 weeks or so I would buy tank raised and only 1 more

 

You can do it. There might be some nasty fighting until they decide who is boss, but if you can handle witnessing that, then go ahead!

Yes, get a smaller one. Having them already different sizes will help them establish ranking.

will adding another make them aggressive towards my royal gramma or just each other?

 

Most likely just each other, but if they get really mad they could take it out on your RG, but I'm sure it will be fine!
