Beautiful tank. Your tang will out grow your tank very shortly. They need a tank that is a minimum of 4 feet long just to have a chance to keep them healthy over the long haul. I would say you are at your fish stocking limit until you find the tang a new home. Corals you can definitely add.

We have had that tang for 3 years and it has not gotten any bigger than that and was in a 24 gallon biocube but and he is about 4 now and has not grow since.

Do you know any good coral i can add i like coral that will spread over time and cover a whole area.;D

Star polyps and daisy polyps like to spread and cover a lot of area. Zoanthids and button polyps can do the same. LPS corals like chalices spread. Encrusting species of SPS would work for the top of your scape.

If you get rid of the Tang you can def put something else in there. I'm suprised yours hasn't grown in 4 years. I have had a blue hippo and he has grown a lot in just 2 months. Tangs love to swim and need lots of room to do so.

Think of it this way, a human being can survive in a closet with food & water, but doesn't mean they'll stay happy & healthy in there.

Some species of montipora grow covering the rock just like GSP and polyps. Yes on the top top rocks.
