I will be moving soon and I'm wondering If I move my corals into a prop tank with only a heater, T5s, and powerheads will be ok. Probably for a couple of weeks or maybe a month.
I'll be setting up my main tank then coming back to overnight or fly my corals to my new home.
There won't be any filtration and there won't be any fish. Maybe a piece of live rock and some snails.
    Prop tank:

Option 2 is a little 29 gallon system:
    29 gal. saltwater aquarium setup
I can get option 2 for $250 or I can probably trade corals for option 1.

Mostly LPS and SPS but I do have a dendro that needs food.. I think if I get some mysis directly in it's mouth the water quality should still be ok. .There won't be any sand so I can vacuum out any debris. Also can still do water changes.

yeah, I'll be in and out but mostly still in this home. Gonna sell my fish I guess ...even though I hate to do that. I'm kinda attached to old blue(hippo) and Blondie the tang. hehe

Sounds fine to me but I would put at least a little rock in there for some filtration since you have dendros. Even though they eat it all they do still produce waste back into the water, it's just not generally visible AFAIK. You may not NEED the filtration but if it were me I would feel safer with something in there.

if I remember right your probably moving to Alexandria, Va.
If so I may be able to help you out, my 90 has been running since 1 aug and only has my cuc in it so far due to some unexpected expenses that came up mid aug. I live 6.5 miles from old town alexandria.
PM me if you might be interested in shipping you inhabitants to me for temp storage while you move and get set back up. I work a 4 day week and am typically home mon-thursday daytimes to accept delivery.
