    On a 55 I can almost garantee the bottom is tempered it is almost a stardard now adays and with the galss of a 55 being so thin it would be werid if it wasn't. You can always drill the back for a bean overflow.

    Yeh I'm getting a 55. I did break my first 29 while drilling it but I think I was pushing down to hard. The second one went very well all three holes.
