    its been almost a week and 2 phone calls and 2 emails with no response to my damaged skimmer from Red Sea.
    glad some of you got good service but they wont even answer my email.!!

    i bought it from ThatPetplace.com. i called them they told me to contact the manufacturer.

    thats the one i used.. 2 times. i even got a contact number from thatpetplace, but no return call yet.. theymust have other complaints on same issue

    I'm trying to understand why it's your responsability to persue this and not that of the retailer. I would get on thepetplace and make them deal with Redsea.
    You bought the product from thepetplace not Red Sea correct.

    Rereading the 1st post, what is the 'damage' by the way? I thought you were just having trouble dialing it in.

    J is right- I thiink they have a 30 day return policy so just get a return number and exchange it.

    its not having problems dialing it in.  i started to make a lound clunking sound.  as if the impeller came loose, with this came an enourmous amount of foam bubbles.  i checked it and cleand it out and still did it.  yesterday tho i turned it off and let it sit for a while and when i plugged it back in it was quite and flowing good.  

    petplace told me to contact the Redsea company as it was probably a manufacturing defect.  

    so far today tho , no problems.. ill just let it ride for a few more and see what turns out.  

    still tho you would think they would at least respond to my calls and emails!  after all it is their product
