can i flame here?

Many online dealers have a spot on their sight regarding defective products and which ones they can handle and not (customaquatics sight states clearly they can't handle Red Sea products and Dr Foster and Smith puts you on the same "contact them directly" path). If they buy their stock from a distributer, comminly they can't deal with the company directly.

 

well that figures dont it ?? well i think i got it .. i put a small band like "O" ring on impeller and it seems to have worked well.

also for all those who use them. i raised my collection cup and put in a spacer to hold it in place. then i turned up my water to allow more flow with less clean bubble transfer. skimming good today!!!> i think i came across a small mod for this thing!

 

All this hassle is why I still only buy from the few good lfs in my area, its human contact, and they work for my business. Red Sea has been good about responding to my issues it takes time depending on when you email them. I found I get better results if I email during the morning and not at night.

 

well i finally got a resonse. it was answered as if they were told about this post. all they offered was another number and how to dial it in, but know that already. but hey at least a response. and yea LFS would be nice if mine took a bit more time in the hobby instead of looking for the Ol mighty $$
