Can i get a flounder in my tank

    my tanks 55 gal reef tank mandrin goby 2 tang 3 clown fish 1 shrimp baby emperior angel fish. can i get a flounder or shuild i wait till my clown fish are bigger i got a 2 inch sand bed.

    55 isnt big enough not to mention it'll destroy any and every invert in your tank

    Note that the MINIMUM tank size for a flounder is ~125gal.... That might not be a good plan in a 55gal.

    well my fish are happy :p and ill get rid of them once there to big can i have a flame angel in my tank?

    Might want to slow down a bit with the fish. Enjoy the ones you have, pick wisely and what's best for your tank. You're pretty well stocked with what you have. Is your mandarin eating properly?

    I like to keep pets for the long run, and watch them grow. Kinda harsh to get rid of them just because they get too big. They all have their own quirks and personalities and I would find it hard to give them up if they start to outgrow the tank. If you want more fish, perhaps get a bigger tank, or cherry pick an ideal crew for the equipment you have.

    Not trying to be mean, just my two cents. Take or leave as you will. Definitely no flounder for a 55.
