can i get just any bulb???

i have a K-2 viper 150W. can i get just any 150 watt DOUBLE ENDED bulb and it would be ok. also what is a bluer light bulb that would make my corals color pop? thanks

 

I really like the color of 14,000 Kelvin bulbs.. they add a nice blue to the corals..

 

what does 14k and 20k look like? can someone post a pic?

can i still just get any 150 watt double ended bulb for my fixture though. the lfs says that they will have to special order the bulbs probably since they cost so much.

 

ive heard that radium 20k and phoenix 14k bulbs are good

but yea you can get any bulb

im hoping hte bulbbs arent more than 60.

does anyone elses lfs let them trade frags for equipment. im hoping mine does. if not then i am gonna have a problem. i will ask them tomorow.
