I have had my pico tank up and running with live rock in it for at least three months now and cant decide what to put in it? I have a 14gal and 29gal tank and can never decide what corals i want to steal from those tanks to start them in the pico. So i have decided to just grow macro algae in the pico, if i can? Is this a good idea? I than can always transferee some of the macro from trimming to my biocube fuges.
Oh yeah here is a pic of the pico

simple answer - yes you can grow some macro algae species in that tank
    under the stock lighting

check out the reef cleaner site as they had some deals on Macro algaes recently
so you might find various types all from one place
