can i have a acropora

    i have sunpaq compact flouresant lighting i have 4 dual bulbs each bulb having 65 watts so can i have an acropora?

    I would say no with compact flourescent bulbs. I have T5s and feel I'm pushing it. It also depends on how much flow you have. They require a lot of varying flow.

    That is very true, and besides, I've heard acros are not the best SPS to start with. Can't remember exactly which one is though.

    no acropora are high flow and high light... if your lucky, the easiest branching sps is a pocillapora but thats a stretch for compacts and it still requires high flow.

    try some lps like acans, frogspawn, hammer, and brain

    I would definitely get some duncans or a frogspawn. By far my favorite corals in my tank. Very easy to care for as well.
