    Would I be able to keep a maroon clown in my 10gal. tank?
    Petco has a great price on them, plus I have a 10% off coupon. They are about $16

    No. It will outgrow it rather fast. Never jump on livestock for monetary reasons, the price you pay now will be dwarfed ten-fold with the problems had down the road.
