Can I have a red hawk fish?

I would not not buy the Hawk fish because of peppermeint shrimp. Eventually most shrimps die anyway due to either salinity, temp, or ph rapid swing from a simple mistake that you could make. Really your size tank you should not have more than 3 or 4 fish at the most.

 

wel that is so unfortunate that we talked about flame hawkfish today. I came back frmo basketball and my flamer has passed away. RIP Cali... sure am going to miss her.

 

Peppermint shrimp frequently end up as dinner, if you're keeping them (and they're DARNED useful) be careful what fish you keep, lest the shrimp end up as an expensive snack. I often keep 'em in the fuge unless I have aiptasia.

 

I think the most expensive snack my flame ate was my $32 fire shrimp !

 

I guess I no longer worry about it my red hawk was dead when I got home yesterday. Bummer

My Royal Gramma Basslet eats all my peppermint shrimps. It might have eaten my skunk... not sure on the skunk. Sure on the pepps though.

 

Svcks... what do you think was the reason why it died?
